What are the different Job Action buttons?

There are several Job Action Buttons in the top right corner of the Job Details view including Enable/Disable, Run Now, Alerts, and Refresh Job.

Enable/Disable

When a job is disabled, this button will show as below:

By clicking the “Enable” button you will enable the job to run. In addition to enabling the job to run at the next assigned interval, users can Enable and Run the job by clicking the down arrow on the right side of the button. The below option will result:

When a job is Enabled, this button will show as below:

disable

By clicking the “Disable” button, you will disable the job which will not allow it to run until it is enabled manually by a user.

Run Now

This button will only show when a job is enabled:

run now

This button allows a user to run a job on command/manually independent of any set intervals.

Alerts

This button will only show whether a job is disabled or enabled. However, if Alerts are enabled, the button will appear blue as below:

If Alerts are disabled, the button will appear grey as below:

This button allows a user to enable email alerts regarding job processing errors.

Refresh Job

This button will show whether a job is enabled or disabled:

refresh

This button allows a user to refresh the job’s Header, Job, and Line Detail information.
